The new challenge \u2014 from a different party and based on different legal theories \u2014 will let the justices take a fresh look at the law, known as Senate Bill 8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The vote in the earlier case was 5 to 4, with Chief Justice John G.
