Jeff Jackson, who raised just over $700,000. In his first quarter report, Jackson raised $1.3 million. He entered the race on January 26.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beasley said of her totals, \u201cI\u2019m so grateful for all of the support and enthusiasm we\u2019re seeing across NC. For too long, our senators have been more focused on their own self-interest than serving our state. Together we\u2019ll make that happen.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jackson\u2019s amount is half of what he raised in the first quarter, but insisted, \u201cWe\u2019re seeing real momentum behind the movement we\u2019re building, and we\u2019re overwhelmed by the support we\u2019ve received from folks across the state,\u201d in a release from his campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jackson leads Beasley with the amount of available cash on hand, edging her slightly. Those totals, though, show Jackson spending at a much higher rate than Beasley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Former state Sen.
