Cornelius, Huntersville).<\/li><li>27%&nbsp;are from cities.<\/li><li>Just 14%&nbsp;are from rural counties.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What he\u2019s saying:<\/strong>\u00a0\u201cIf you look at the grand scheme of things, 20,000 is 1% (of the overall statewide GOP voter base). So it\u2019s a drop in the ocean, or a drop in Lake Norman,\u201d Bitzer says. \u201cThe Republican Party\u2019s core base in this is within suburban North Carolina.
